Summer Camp

AdvantageCLE offers a free eight-week camp each summer at Thurgood Marshall Recreation Center in Cleveland each weekday.  Children receive breakfast and lunch and rotate through five rotations per day. The camp focuses on tennis, fitness, and wellness, as well as literacy, STEM, and poetry slam.

ACE After School Program

ACE stands for Athletics, Creativity and Enrichment- all themes for our after-school program. Students receive tennis, poetry, STEM, literacy, art and wellness instruction-- moving each child toward their potential on and off the court.​

Tennis Clinics

AdvantageCLE is proud to have expanded our tennis clinics at Cleveland State University.  Our clinics have grown from a dozen children in 2020 to 40 players registered this spring.

Tennis

Tennis offers individual development and team-building skills, strengthening a student’s self-confidence.

Literacy

Literacy promotes active learning for students through themed workshops, crafts and creative projects that help develop communication skills.

STEM introduces students to the engineering process and helps them develop scientific skills in a fun and exciting way.

Wellness 

The Wellness curriculum was designed to teach better nutrition and decision making for a healthier lifestyle.

Creative Expression

Creative expression fuels the need and freedom for students to express themselves. Students are encouraged to perform their work to promote public speaking skills and confidence.

Fitness

Fitness classes address health, body image, and self-esteem by developing speed, agility, and strength.
